Kenneth E. Robinson, M.D. has been in private practice for almost 25 years. One of his specialties is women’s health issues. He offers the best in care by keeping up to date with cutting edge procedures, techniques, and treatments. He has extensive knowledge and experience in gynecologic care including alternatives to hysterectomy, laproscopic surgery, treatment of abnormal pap smears, contraceptive advice and therapy, and so much more including:

• Pap smears, including the new ThinPrep® Pap test; colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP/LLETZ; reflex HPV testing of atypical Paps to reduce need for unnecessary colposcopies.

• Endometriosis, including advanced operative laparoscopy, laser surgery, GnRH agonist therapy (Lupron®, Synarel®).

• Advanced approach to hysterectomy, including "23 hour stay" vaginal hysterectomy with epidural, post-op Duramorph®, complete laparoscopic hysterectomy with rapid return to normal activities, and laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (L.S.H.), also known as laparoscopic subtotal hysterectomy with preservation of the cervix.

• Urogynecology, including laparoscopic surgical correction of stress urinary incontinence, and correction of pelvic relaxation/prolapse, using open, laparoscopic, and vaginal surgical techniques.

• For women experiencing difficulties getting pregnant Dr. Robinson also offers infertility treatment including hysterosalpingography, intrauterine-insemination (I.U.I.), laproscopic correction of tubal factor infertility, operative hysteroscopy, including ovulation induction (Clomid, Genal-F, and Follistim), and resectoscopic treatment of septate uterus. He also specializes in treatments for polycystic ovary syndrome (including Glucophage and other insulin sensitizing therapy), pituitary disorders, amenorrhea, and recurrent miscarriages.

• Adolescent gynecology, including first pelvic, progressive pelvic.

• Complete contraceptive counseling/services, including the Pill, emergency contraception, DepoProvera®, I.U.D. (IntraUterine Device), including both the Paragard T380A® and the Mirena®, and tubal sterilization (featuring the Filshie Clip®), both laparoscopic and post-partum. The latest contraceptive technologies are also available and include the NuvaRing®, and the Ortho Evra™ patch.

• Patient education materials, including a wide array of pamphlets from the American College of Ob/Gyn, Clinical Reference Systems, Krames, and Milner-Fenwick videotapes.

• Menopause and PMS counseling and management.

• Dr. Robinson is trained in micro tubal reanastomosis or tubal reversal. This procedure may be needed to correct blockage in the fallopian tubes either from disease conditions or from a prior tubal ligation.
