Dr. Robinson has taught other physicians in the use of hair removal lasers. With our laser we have treated many men and women of all ethnicities without complication and with excellent results. Many of our patients have offered to make themselves available to you to ask them directly about their experience here at the Center.

No matter where the hair is on your body that you want reduced, know that YOU ARE NOT ALONE. Many of our female patients have as much hair on their faces as men. We can help! For bikini's, underarms, legs, breasts, abdomen and backs we do equally well. We can even do your unibrow safely and effectively.

We offer the latest in laser technology using the highly effective Cynosure Laser System. Laser hair removal/reduction is so different from waxing in that the follicles are reduced permanently and the patient is very comfortable.

This technique is used to remove/reduce hair from the following areas:

Due to the way hair follicles grow, laser hair removal/reduction typically requires 4-6 sessions, each scheduled about 4 weeks apart. We know from years of experience that you will need 4-6 sessions to achieve the best results.  We believe lasers should be in the hands of trained professionals so our procedures are done exclusively by Dr. Robinson and/or our tecnician who has received several hundred hours of training. While laser hair removal/reduction is not a surgical procedure, experience with lasers is critical to prevent complications and help you with special unique problems you may have.

1 - Be sure your procedures are done by a doctor or specially trained nurse or Esthetician as we do.

2 - Understand that you will need a minimum of 4-6 sessions to get the result you are after. Factor that into your total cost based on the ad. Based on the people who come to us after getting less than great outcomes elsewhere, we believe this is important. The result you expect is important. Some people are left with no hair while others are left with some hair which is much finer than when they started. The bottom line is you should expect to shave much less and have less in the way of razor bumps if you get them. We are careful to be certain that everyone understands that you can not predict who will be left with no hair and who will have a 70% reduction. At the end of the day, our patients are all satisfied with our efforts and their results.

3 - Just because the ad says "doctor supervised" doesn't necessarily mean a doctor is in the office or will ever see you. Ask if in fact the person doing your procedure will be a doctor or a nurse or if you will be evaluated by a doctor. At the New Body Center, you will be viewed by a qualified physician.

4 - There are several lasers that are FDA approved for permanent laser hair reduction. Some ads will say that their laser is the only one approved. This is just wrong! We believe the Cynosure Laser because of its unique wavelengths and the power it allows us to deliver, is the most effective for hair removal/reduction in all skin types. Ask what type of laser they use. None of the ads I've seen tell this information. Remember, many places have older lasers that just aren't as effective.

5 - When asking for bikini hair removal/reduction, be sure you understand what "they mean" by bikini. Many centers actually limit the bikini to 2 inches or so to the side of your bathing suit line. To do more may cost more. We don't do this.
